Thus, BabyLegs were born – an alternative to leggings or tights that leaves the diaper area exposed – and also fits much better than size-dependent tights. Nicole Donnelly sold the first BabyLegs, which she sewed herself, to friends and acquaintances from her diaper bag – no fewer than 100 pairs in the first two weeks! The idea spread like wildfire, so that Nicole Donnelly founded her own company in April 2005. Within just one year, BabyLegs had already achieved cult status in the USA, were celebrated in the American press, and are already available in over 20 countries worldwide.
