Thanks to its shorter shoulder straps compared to most Mei Tai/half-buckle carriers, the Twist is particularly lightweight, compact, and easy to put on. The fabric panels are draped over the shoulders, crossed at the back, and then knotted at the front under the baby's bottom. Reduced to the essentials, it's ideal for the early days with a newborn.
